To create high level of visual effect, flash animation and video contents of high definition are used to make website impressive. But flash animation affects loading of pages. It usually slows down loading of web pages. In the bottom of web page you will find a progress bar which shows how much processing of loading a page is done.
However there is an argument while using flash animation. It affects search engine optimization of the websites. There is one file in web page where all flash web designs are made up and this file is easily not indexed by search engine. Another point is that there is generally graphical text within the flash which is difficult to access by search engine. Cumulative effect is that websites usually are not able to come in high ranking of search engine.

Web design should be done in such a way that visitors get impressed at first sight. It totally depends upon how images, features and relevant contents are arranged within web page. Different web pages in website should be arranged in correct sequence. Searching tools within the website should be accurate. It means that whenever visitors want to search anything they should immediately get accurate things that they want to search.
